Strand. Raveningham Sculpture Trail 2023

Reaching across the front of this beautiful Tudor house with its vertical stripes, Strand clings on. Strand is based on the strap-like fronds of Bladderwrack seaweed. Its ribs, lobes and bubbles are strange structures -  washed up on the shoreline from another world.
