Residency at Walpole Old Chapel, Suffolk

One of the oldest nonconformist chapels in England, Walpole Old Chapel was adapted into a meeting house by the local Independent movement in 1689.

In accordance with their beliefs, the chapel is plain; no altar and no sign of the cross. 18C century pine box pews populate the interior.

I’ll be making drawings, a large scale installation piece and leading workshops over the next few months…Watch this space
